Seeing is Believing is a global initiative to help eliminate avoidable blindness. We help bring affordable eye-care to some of the poorest communities in the world. We’re a collaboration between Standard Chartered Bank and the International Agency for Prevention of Blindness (IAPB).

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I took part in the 1982 South Atlantic conflict as a Royal Engineers Troop Commander. I was uninjured and 32 years later can still run 26 miles. Not everyone was so fortunate some veterans need help. So I am raising funds for South Atlantic Medal Association1982 for my comrades, and The Army Benevolent Fund who help any soldiers.

I am now an optometrist so the designated charity for the event, Seeing is Believing is very appropriate.
