Mark Spavins' Legacy - Lest We Forget

This page is in memory of my dad, Mark Spavins, who passed away at the age of 57 from Cholangiocarcinoma, in August 2018. My dad was the most special of men and a loving husband, dad and grandad.
Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) is considered as a rare cancer. Although this cancer is rare, it has a massive impact on so many families. The number of people being diagnosed with bile duct cancer is increasing, with younger people now being affected.
The AMMF is the only charity in the UK that specifically supports people who are affected by Cholangiocarcinoma. Vital funds are needed to raise awareness and to do further research into this cancer, which is often aggressive and silent, until it becomes too late to treat. Hopefully more research will one day facilitate more people to survive this life changing cancer. Please feel free to give on this page.
Thank you in advance for your support.
