Story
At the beginning of 2014 Michaela & I were excited about having our first child together.
Pregnancy all went well, no real issues and a couple of weeks before schedule, our daughter decided she wanted to make an appearance. So off to the hospital where we were told "you have ages - might as well go home". So we did and then it all started.....
Our daughter was an undiagnosed breach who was born in our bathroom. Delivered by Paramedics, Alberta made her appearance, but all was rather traumatic and when Alberta was eventually born she was not in the best of health.
Alberta was taken to The Trevor Mann Baby Unit and the care given by the team was amazing and they saved our daughter's life and we are lucky enough to have the most amazing 3 year old now.
We were the lucky ones, only in hospital for a couple of weeks and our daughter is now perfectly healthy, but others are not so fortunate.
I always said I would do something to raise some money for the Rockinghorse Children's Charity, so having trained for 18 months and undertaken numerous "warm up" events; it has all been building up to the Dirty Weekend - 20 miles & 200 Obstacles
If you can spare a donation, however big or small, it really would be appreciated.
