For those that know me and my family, you will know we lost my Dad to suicide in August 2019.

I can’t even begin to put into words how me and my family feel.

We never in a million years would have believed this could have happened.

Not to our family, not my Dad. He was so strong and always had himself together. This sort of thing doesn’t happen to someone like him. 

The truth is it can happen to anyone.

We must do everything we can to raise awareness, that this can happen to anyone, and to help prevent suicide. 

And that’s why it’s so important to support a charity like CALM, because you can see a broken arm or leg, you can’t see if someone is suffering with their mental health. 

We have to be okay to talk about suicide.
