Story

Hey everyone J

Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Probably the best children’s hospital in the world.

But, heavily dependent on donations, it really needs our help… in fact over £50 million a year is required just for the general day-to-day running of the hospital.

GOSH is often the last resort for some of the world’s sickest children, providing hope for their families, and pioneering life-saving treatment when all other attempts have failed.

***Quick message from Amy... I was born with a very rare medical condition, KTWS, (which I like to think makes me one in a million!) … a complex condition with no cure and I’m lucky enough to have been a patient at GOSH from a very young age... thus can personally vouch that all the staff there are FANTASTIC and the treatment/care really is second to none! Now an adult, I have sadly had to leave and so really want to help give something back to a charity very close to my heart which did so much for me throughout my childhood***

…That’s where DUCK Jailbreak comes in!!

On the 26 November 2011, we will be attempting to get as far away from Durham (where we’re at uni) as possible in 36 hours… without spending ANY money!! (Crazy, I know!) The aim is to hitchhike across the globe... maybe even to Sydney, Australia?! And to top it all off, we’ll be doing it in fancy dress… naturally ;)

But to be able to do this we really need all your love and support.

Please help us to support a fantastic charity and raise lots of money to help GOSH keep up their simply AMAZING work… ensuring that “the child [really does come] first and always!!”

THANKYOU…. and lots of love!!!! Aneka & Amy xxxx
