Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please donate generously.

I am aiming to take part in the Wobbleberries Challenge - to compete a BE80 event during September 2017. This will involve competing in a Dressage test, a Showjumping round and a Cross Country course (jumps up to 80cm) on the same day, without making any glaring errors, which would result in being eliminated and also without falling off!!

I am a complete wuss when it comes to jumping so this is going to be a massive personal challenge for me, and pushing me completely out of my comfort zone. For those who know me know this will be the hardest thing for me to do but will also know this is something I have wanted to do for so long.

There is a potential of great pain and bloodshed and am sure there will also be thrills, spills, tears and tantrums along the way but I am excited about this opportunity, so I shall dig out my big brave pants and the training starts now.

So please sponsor me to keep me going and I will update with pictures and videos as often as I can

About Hannah
Talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, was diagnosed with aggressive bone cancer in 2015. She was just 17 years old. In the year and half that followed Hannah, always aided by her mascot toy pony, Willberry Wonder Pony, amazed the equestrian community and people all over the world with her drive and determination. She continued to ride, even riding internationally under GB colours, and fulfilled many of her 'bucket list' wishes.

Even more remarkable, she turned her sights to what she could do to help people in her position in the future. In constant pain and undergoing relentless rounds of treatment she and her dedicated family and friends set up Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony Charity. The charity funds bone cancer research, especially into osteosarcoma, and grants equine related wishes to seriously ill people.

Hannah died in August 2016. But her legacy is very much alive and kicking on. The charity has around £200,000 (at August 2016) in the bank for its brilliant causes and is lucky to have the most dedicated, generous, remarkable supporters and fundraisers in the world.
