Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  As you aware, I was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2020 and was treated at The Christie Hospital by a great team.  With a lot of treatment, strength & determination, I beat the disease but for only a few short months.  In October 2021 following severe headaches, I flagged this matter with the Christie who scanned me and I was then advised that I had secondary breast cancer (also known as metastatic) which means the disease had spread to my brain and was now stage 4 (incurable).  Although this news was obviously devastating for me and my family, the Christie Hospital have continued to look after me by changing up my chemotherapy treatments and keeping me under constant review.  I am currently on a chemotherapy treatment with minimal side effects which gives me a better quality of life and has allowed me to return to work and to go on lovely holidays... a feeling of normality I never thought possible again.

In order to not only thank the Christie Hospital but also to help raise more funds for the excellent work they do, I have decided to take part in the Christie Skydive which means I will be jumping out of a plane at 11,0000 feet!  I will initially free fall at 120mph.  This event takes place on Saturday 13th August at the Black Nights Parachute Centre in Lancashire for anyone wishing to come along to show their support.  However, a donation would be most grateful and very much appreciated.  I have a target amount of £400 and so anything you can give would be amazing.
