I know, you're reading this for what? - the tenth?eleventh time in as many years! I know I do it every year, every year I ask you to donate. However this year, it's not just in memory of my darling Mum, who I just miss - still..... but for the brave fight my father in law has shown this year. He is receiving ongoing chemo and has tackled the whole thing with such admirable grace and tenacity in equal measure.

You have your own story, you have your own connection I'm sure. Anyone who's been 'up close' to this beast of a disease knows how horrendous it is. Please, if you feel you might throw a couple of pounds into my fundraising pot, I cannot tell you how touched and thankful I will feel.

I also felt I needed to raise my game this year, so I am running 10k this time (6.22miles) to make it count.
