We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Over the last few years I have been taking part in 10 mile runs and even a half marathon. I always thought I would never volunteer to take part in a full on marathon, but I have been given a chance to run this year’s London Marathon raising money for a very special charity.

This April will mark 25 years since I completed my training at Sandhurst, and in the time since I have seen the positive impact the Soldiers’ Charity has had on many I served alongside.

The ABF is there for all ex-service personnel, regardless of when and where they served. Together with individual Corps and Regimental charities, the ABF quietly changes lives, and not just for those men and women injured in recent conflicts. The charity might pay an overdue rent bill, or help to upgrade a wheelchair, or pay travel expenses of someone who needs to attend a hospital appointment far from home.
The amounts might not be huge, but they can make a giganticd ifference.

With your generous support they can continue to help change lives.
