We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under 35 in the UK. PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide and believes that many young suicides are preventable. They operate HOPELINEUK, a confidential call, text, and email helpline for young people with thoughts of suicide or those concerned about a young person who may have thoughts of suicide. Every £5 raised can help pay for a potentially life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK from a young person wanting to stay safe from their thoughts of suicide. Thank you.

We are two young cyclists,  Angus aged 16 and James aged 17, who are taking part in the Three Peaks Cyclo-cross race that takes place in Yorkshire this September. The Three Peaks is a grueling race that summits the three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside, and Penighent. The event is a 40-mile endeavor and is known for its relentless toughness. We are both members of the Cog Set Papyrus cycling team that works with Papyrus to spread awareness of suicide of young people in the UK. We hope we inspire you with our action. Thank you.
