Since my wife Sheila and I became supporters of CCLL Tewkesbury  we have seen first hand how the children impacted by the Chernoybl Nuclear Disaster are helped by having a simple one month holiday away from the radiation. The holiday provides the children from Belarus with an opportunity to detox, and improve their health, as well as a memorable adventure. 

They stay with host families and benefit from the kindness of local individuals, charities and church groups. Many attractions discount their entrance costs to enable the children to visit. It is an opportunity for practical international friendship - the children and their families back in Belarus appreciate both the opportunity and generosity.

The holiday is only possible by paying for air tickets, visas  and covering costs such as mini-bus transport, clothing, health care and activities.
