Story
My son and daughter (non-identical twins) were born prematurely at twenty-four weeks in Belfast on the 31/12/16. Sadly, we lost our son a day after he was born, then our daughter spent three months in neonatal wards at the Royal Victoria and Ulster Hospital.
We received tremendous support from Tiny Life, and healthcare from Doctors and Nurses that was of excellence. It was only through this care that our daughter lived, and our son was able to die with dignity and respect. Therefore, we want to give something back.
Through Tiny Life we can raise money to support babies and parents affected by premature birth, whether it be through support groups, breast pumps, or funding for research. Please give to a worthy cause - there is nothing worse than the death of a baby, and nothing better than seeing a little one pull through!
My friend, Gareth Ruck, and I will cycle a tour of the South West of England unassisted. We will camp along the way and cycle over six-hundred miles in a week. We are looking forward to a real adventure and serious challenge.
The cycle will take place from the 5th to the 10th of May, and is as follows -
Day one - St Teath to Land's End (80 miles)
Day two - Land's End to Dartmoor National Park (120 miles)
Day three - Dartmoor National Park to Weymouth (100miles)
Day four - Weymouth to Cheltenham (120miles)
Day five - Cheltenham to Exmoor National Park (110 miles)
Day six - Exmoor National Park to St Teath (80 miles)
For all those that need it, get giving!
