Nick died from kidney cancer nearly 2 years ago aged 66 and was looked after in St Richard's Hospice for the last few days of his life. The care he, and all the family received was amazing. The staff were always approachable, supportive and compassionate and made time to talk and listen whenever we needed them. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful.

I have been training hard but, with only just over 4 weeks to go, I am getting increasingly apprehensive about the 50 miles per day (on average), mainly off road, cycling with the additional challenge of camping on some of the days!

I am, of course, paying all expenses so any money raised will go straight to St Richard's so please donate!

£5 will pay for a nutritious lunch for a patient

£12 will give a patient an hour of care and emotional support at home

£20 will provide an hour's care in the In-patient unit.
