My name is Ann Roberts.  I am a health care support worker at ysbyty gwynedd Bangor. In 2018 we were given the devastating news that my husband had a brain tumor. He was sent to Walton hospital , liverpool were they removed the lump successfully. He was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma he then went on to have 7 months of gruelling chemotherapy and stem cell transplant, all his treatment came to an end April 2019, he is doing exceptionally well, getting stronger and building his muscles. He has bee in remission for the last 15 months. 

It has been a very long journey for him and all of our family but the love and support  and positive thinking we have received from family,  friends and neighbours have baught us through it.  The care and support we received by all the doctors, nurses at alaw ward , alaw day unit was superb, we give our thanks to them.

So I would like to raise money for north west cancer research , on the 13th June I will be grade shaving my hair. If you would like to sponsor me please donate to to this worthwhile charity that is close to everyone. 

Cancer touches so many lives and devestates so many families, we will not let it beat us, so to everyone who is going going through cancer treatments or have had it , think positive , be strong, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We are all so proud of my husband having been through this and come out and beat cancer. 

I want to do this to help with carrying on with research and myself and husband have other family members and friends who have cancer.
