Once upon a time in Nottingham, Julie suggested to Ann that they should do the Lincoln Cathedral rope descent - abseiling 98ft inside the cathedral to fundraise for Nottingham Children's Hospital. As they ordered the second round of cocktails it seemed like a jolly good idea; Liz is clearly more fearless as she didn't even need to be plied with cocktails to join the team! Despite being really very young Liz, Ann and Julie have between them spent many, many years working in Nottingham Children's Hospital as they were coincidentally all child protégés. They've stayed so long because it's a great place that does some amazing work so they've decided to take the opportunity to do some fundraising.
