I ran the prestigious The British 10K run on 08.07.2012, in order to raise funds for International Association for Human Values (IAHV) - a humanitarian organisation founded by world spiritual leaders which is committed to foster a deeper understanding of the values that unite us as a global human community, and to encourage the practice of human values in everyday life. IAHV upholds the conviction that the integration of human values into all aspects of life will ultimately lead to the development of a more peaceful, just and sustainable world. Few key principles that compose the foundation of human values upon which societies and cultures around the world are built and are also fundamental to all religions and belief systems can be summarised as: respect, tolerance, acceptance, generosity, caring for others and the planet, peace, dignity, sharing a sense of belongingness, integrity and selfless love for all…

Out of number of projects undertaken by IAHV UK, my fundraising is aimed towards ‘Gift a smile’ project, which provides free, holistic, value based education to underprivileged children in India and elsewhere. You can find out more information here.

The British 10K London Run is the UK's most prestigious and sought-after 10km road race which is staged on the world's greatest route through the heart of central London. 25,000 runners fill the streets of the great historic city and get the unique chance to run past many of the history’s greatest landmarks including Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey. This event was very special on account of London 2012 Olympics. I managed to finish my 10K in 1:32:31!!!
