Event: Brighton Marathon 2022, on 10 April 2022
A small but mighty team will be pushing a trolley whilst running the 26.2 miles around the Brighton Marathon on 10th April 2022. We're raising money to improve the Royal Sussex County Hospital's A&E department.

Story

I am running this year's Brighton Marathon whilst pushing a hospital trolley! Luckily I won't be alone but part of a team of 6. 'But why?', I hear you ask! Well, it is to raise much needed funds to improve our local A&E department. Government funding can only go so far and we want to support the department by fundraising for state-of-the-art equipment, environmental comforts to enhance the patient experience and to provide specialty staff training. Having previously worked in A&E and now as a GP in the community I see many patients who have required the excellent care that A&E provides and I know any money raised will be put to fantastic use.

Thank you for visiting my page and for supporting us. Please cheer for us on the day- I think we're going to need it, and would hugely value your support!
