At Princess Alice Hospice, we provide exceptional end of life care in our hospice and in the community. We know we can’t prevent death, but we do whatever we possibly can to make it the best it possibly can be. But, above all, we believe that hospice care is for living.

Story

Dad was treated with such respect towards the end of his life and much of that was thanks to the amazing work of the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher.  It was respect he had earned throughout his life as a hard-working husband and dad.  We know that he would be proud to raise money for them which will help other people in a similar position to him.

He had lived a full life with lots of laughs along the way and was so unlucky that the last 3 years were so difficult for him.  The upside is that we got to know him more, talk to him more and spend more time with him and he always enjoyed our visits, seeing his 5 cheeky grandchildren and eating fish & chips!

Dad fell asleep with his daughters there, on October 30th at 9.25pm.  No tubes, no pain relief.  No fuss.  Just the way he wanted.

It would mean a lot to our family to give something back to the hospice in Dad's memory.
