Hello!

I am joining the Great East End Walk, for the first time, to raise funds for a very important cause, close to my heart. Born and raised in Shoreditch, I remember going with my mum as a young girl to the Christmas Bazaar but did not realise what St Joseph's meant to our family. When my dad died, my mum supported the hospice by donating and I would read their magazines, learning more about the vital work they do, not just for patients but the families too and how local people and businesses work to support the hospice's work.  When mum died, I made a decision to support the 'Light up a life'.  My daughter Rebecca now works at the hospice and I discovered my brother had been a volunteer visitor too! So the hospice matters to us and hopefully you will help too!
