I am really looking forward to this challenge and supporting this charity.  My friends who are organising it are very dedicated.  In the past they have been averse to the the idea of wearing socks let alone to attiring themselves with clompy walking boots.  So they are truly willing to do something they are not confident with for this charity because we really want this charity to benefit.

The Maya Childcare Trust centre in Guatemala provides care and education for children who are living in real poverty. Some of the children come from terrible backgrounds of mistreatment and neglect. Rates of child malnutrition in Guatemala are among the worst in the world. They really need our donations to keep the centre open.
