Story
Lauren and I will be taking on the 'experienced' hiking route of Scafell Pike, which will also include climbing to Broad Crag, Great End, Great Gable, Green Gable, Kirkfell and Lingmell. This route is around 15 miles and 8,000 ft of climbing all in one day, 22nd June 2024.
We are raising money for the YMCA East Surrey. Their main objective is providing housing services support for young people who are in need of a home, are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless by providing safe, secure and affordable housing when they need it.
In 2024, YMCA East Surrey will be opening a new move-on accommodation for 6 young people in Redhill. They are aiming to raise £100k through challenge events towards refurbishment costs as well as furniture for individual bedrooms and communal areas.
