Story
On August the 5th, Jen and I will be climbing Ben Nevis, Mount Snowdon and Scafell Pike in twenty-four hours to raise money for a charity I have passionately supported since I was little: The Born Free Foundation. From a stall at my school fete in primary school; to lent projects in secondary school; to abseiling Earls court for ZSL and volunteering in Costa Rica whilst at university, fundraising for animal charities is something I have been doing with passion my whole life.
Now more than ever I believe the conservation and protection of endangered species is so vital and The Born Free Foundation is a charity that is devoted to animal welfare taking action worldwide to protect threatened species and just as importantly to stop individual animal suffering.
Every animal counts. Their incredible emergency teams rescue vulnerable animals from appalling lives of misery in tiny cages and gives them lifetime care at spacious sanctuaries where they are free to live how they were supposed to. Born Free saves orphaned big cats, great apes, elephants and many more species from zoos, circuses and cruel animal entertainment around the world.
