Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've my first half marathon in March at Cambridge 2012. I could have chosen two other charities to be linked to (The Samaritains or Cancer Research) as both have affected my wider family positively, however I'm the one with the enlarged heart and tachycardia, so the British Heart Foundation gets my vote.
The only targets I have are to finish the races I run in, any donations however small or large are welcomed and I'm most grateful for that. And amazed. If nothing else this should make me more aware of what a lot of people I see every weekend go through and have a greater understanding of the world we live in.
Wish me luck !

UPDATE - Cambridge Half 2012 Completed !!
1hr 48m 25seconds, 8m15sec per mile average pace, two blisters on my toes, tight hamstrings, painful hip flexors and tight ITB, but a whole load of memories re-lived from living in cambridge 22 years ago. A very scenic route and great support from Dad too - see photos attached.
