We are supporting and helping to raise money for the charity WellChild - the national charity for sick children.

To help raise funds for this worthy charity we are talking part in a multi-activity charity challenge at Patterdale Hall in the Lake District on Saturday 14 September 2019.

The Rhodar Venture Challenge is about testing your limits and pushing yourself outside your comfort zone - all in aid of WellChild. There are 14 obstacles and challenges including archery, paddleboarding, cliff jumping, abseiling and rock climbing. Over the course of the day, I will try to rack up as many points as possible by reaching as many checkpoints and completing the challenges. Totally stepping outside my comfort zone!

WellChild is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. More than 100,000 children and young people are living across the UK with serious or exceptional health needs. Many spend months, even years, in hospital simply because there is no support enabling them to leave. Meanwhile, those who are at home face inconsistent and inadequate levels of support.

Through a nationwide network of children's nurses, home and garden transformation projects and family support services, WellChild exists to give this growing population of children and young people the best possible chance to thrive properly supported at home.

Whatever you can spare would be much appreciated, every penny counts no matter how big or small.
