In September 2017 :

I will be joining an old-school friend & fulfilling a 5 year old promise, by trekking (Not Cycling !) along a remote Inca highway to the lost city of Machu Picchu, Peru’s most famous Inca ruin.

The trek will be at altitude, I will be camping at night and walking by day. This will be a tough challenge for me & my already ‘Battered Body’, but nothing compared to the challenge that cancer patients and their families face each day.

I have committed to raising funds for Velindre, the premier Cancer Centre in Wales that cares, supports and treats patients and families.
