Hello! I am Patches the Cat, and my Hoomin, Anya, is yet again getting on her bike and going pedal-crazy for 62 miles in the dark to raise money for the place she got me from – Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home do an absolutely amazing job looking after dogs and cats like myself who have fallen on hard times, through no fault of our own. I found myself here in 2011 after becoming homeless and pregnant at only about a year old – still a kitten myself!!  I had my kittens at Battersea, and they gave me time to feed and wean them (and teach them how to use a litter tray – I am so good at that). They also found them all homes, before my Hoomins came to get me. (I was miaowing so much in my cabin they just couldn't ignore me!)

I was very skinny and my coat was falling out from stress when they took me home, but just look at me now! Everyone says how glossy and shiny I am.

So please do sponsor my Hoomin, so that other cats and dogs can find their new loving homes too. Or I'll do something shocking to your shoes.
