Aoife Lanigan - Sky Dive for Charity

Sky Dive For Great Hounds in Need · 21 June 2015 ·
For some mad reason, I have agreed to do a sponsored Parachute Jump for Charity....aaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!
The chosen charity really is a great one and definitely deserves me hurling my butt out of a plane screaming!!!!
Great Hounds in Need (Charity no. CHY 20300) are organising this Parachute Jump on the 21st June 2015 @ The Irish Parachute Club in Offaly.
Here is a little background as to why I would throw myself out of a plane!
I adopted a whippet back in Sept 2014 - Frankie....he is a three legged whippet who did not get the best start in life and suffered under his original owners, he had his leg amputated when he was 9 weeks old due to neglect by his owners. However, Frankie was lucky, and was rescued by a charity who paid for all his medical procedures and aftercare. Without the care of charities like Great Hounds in Need, he would have been put to sleep.
We were lucky to have found this handsome boy.
This is a common story especially with Greyhounds, Lurchers & Whippets. The dog pounds are full of these dogs and Great Hounds In Need sole purpose is to protect, rescue and rehome abandoned, unwanted and abused Greyhounds, Lurchers & Whippets in Ireland. But they need the charity of others to keep up the amazing work they do. The monies raised will pay for medical, food & shelter etc. for these dogs.
I would appreciate any support you can give me.
Thank you.
