Fundraising for Trees for Cities
Story
As a birthday 'treat' to myself, I've signed myself up to the Hackney Half Marathon to run in aid of Trees for Cities. The aim is to raise £500 towards this valuable charity.
Trees for cities organises tree planting projects in London, Ethiopia, Peru and other countries. Bringing together, educating and improving the lives of adults and school children.
London's trees remove 2.4 million tonnes of air pollution each year. However, the UK is losing 50 trees a day. Supporting a charity like this is so important to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
