Story
UPDATE: I completed the final sport, Modern Pentathlon, on Saturday 20th - a whole day early! Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way or donated to the cause - it's been an amazing journey!
I'm planning on participating in every Olympic sport before the end of the Olympics - whilst also hopefully still doing some of my course! The goal is to learn a bit more about all the different skills that go into making our incredible Olympic athletes, whilst making full use of the amazing sporting facilities and opportunities we have available to us in this country. I'll be blogging my progress at archeryemma.wordpress.com so please go along and check out my escapades!
I strongly believe that access to sport is important for personal development, as well as quality of life and health, and Right to Play does an amazing job using the power of sport to educate and empower children and young people. (Check out their website: http://www.righttoplay.org.uk)
I feel this is a pretty ambitious goal - particularly as I currently have no idea how I'm going to do equipment-specific sports such as Equestrian, Diving, or Gymnastics - but I'm going to do my best and hopefully I'll make a good stab at it!
