Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. We are raising
money for the British Heart Foundation, and I'd be so grateful for your
support. This is the 26th anniversary of the “Armathwaite Challenge” and a special year for me, just after last year’s walk I lost my Farther In-law, and I would like to dedicate this year’s walk-in memory of a man I admired so much
and was a good friend. Anyone wanting a little stroll on Sunday 24th September can meet us for the 20-mile walk at 08.30 at the Border Gate Hotel, Carleton, Carlisle, CA4 0AD carpark,  and heads
towards Talkin Tarn, Brampton CA8 1HN, anyone wanting to join the 20-milers can do so at the Fox & Pheasant, Armathwaite CA4 9PY,  this is a 10-mile walk and people are very welcome to join in at approximately 11.30 and walk with the 20-milers to Talkin Tarn. There will be transport available to commute people back to their vehicles at the Border Gate of transport the walkers to the Fox and Pheasant Inn at Armathwaite for refreshments.
