As everyone knows my niece Peyton is eight and is my whole world, Peyton was born with HLHS a heart condition meaning she was born with only half a heart. Peyton had her first open heart surgery down in Birmingham at only 3 days old so her half a heart works in the same way a person with a whole heart does. So far peyton has had 3 open heart surgeries, 2 cardiac catheters and attends a cardiology clinic in Glasgow every 6months. Peyton will never be cured and will eventually once her heart goes into heart failure, have to have a heart transplant. I'm not a runner what so ever! But I'm doing this 5k to raise money for a wonderful charity called little hearts matter to give back something after all the help and support they've given my sister, niece and all of our family. Please give whatever you can to help me raise as much possible for this outstanding charity it's so greatly appreciated!
