Story
Ian will never be able to drive a car. Ian will never be able to live in his own house. Ian won’t be able to open a bank account or vote in an election. Ian won’t have a Facebook page or be able to call someone up on the phone.
There are many things my amazing brother will never be able to do that we take for granted each and every day…. but there are so many more things that he and others with Autism can do with love and support of friends, family, and community. I have seen first hand how the love and generosity of a small community can transform lives. That support transformed my brother’s life.
The National Autistic Society provides support and outreach for thousands of people with Autism. Since 1962, they have been providing support, guidance and advice, as well as campaigning for improved rights, services and opportunities to help create a society that works for autistic people. Every £ or $ or € you donate will provide direct support to individuals and families living with Autism.
I cannot thank you enough for donating! Know that your contribution will go towards helping someone who really needs it. You have also taken a step towards transforming our society into one that is more accepting, kind, and supportive! You rock!
