Ava attends Village Montessori Nursery School in Birtley with her friend Hollie. Hollie is 4 years old, just like Ava.

A little while ago Hollie broke her arm while playing in the garden. It was when at the hospital due to her broken arm that Hollie was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histocytosis. Hollie has multiple bone lesions throughout her body and is currently undergoing 18 months of Chemotherapy and Steroid treatment. LCH affects only 50 children in the UK each year and as it is so rare there is minimum research to find a cure. 

Hollie's family are now trying to raise as much money as possible through Help for Hollie.

Please held Ava to raise funds for Hollie and The Histocytosis Trust but sponsoring her to run 1.5k in the Mini Great North Run.
