Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

At the end of May my Uncle Liam died as his brain tumour could not be treated or cured.  Now I am very sad for my cousins Isabelle and Oliver as they do not have a Dad any more.  They are aged 11 and 9.

There is not enough money being spent on research into brain tumours.  It was not fair that the doctors did not have any new medicines to give to my Uncle Liam to try and make him better, or even just to stop him from getting more poorly.

I am going to run a marathon (26.2 miles) so I can help to raise money for research into new medicines and finding a cure for brain tumours.  Because I am only 10 years old I am going to run the marathon 3 miles at a time.  I do not find running easy so this will be challenge for me.

Please sponsor me, so other children don't have to lose a parent like my cousins have.
