By raising our target we will be able to support CLIC with:-

A family to stay overnight in one of CLIC Sargent's 10 Homes from Home.  Providing free self-catering accommodation near to a specialist children's cancer treatment centre, which are often many miles from a family's home.  Staying in a Home from Home ensures a family can be close to their child during treatment.  The atmosphere in a Home from Home is friendly and welcoming.  If they are well enough, the child or young person can stay there too.

An hour of a CLIC Sargent Nurses' time, so that they can coordinate clinical and non-clinical care for children with cancer, to maximise the amount of time they can safely spend at home, and ensure that treatments can be given closer to home where possible.

Pay for one young person to take part in a residential weekend at Malcolm Sargent House, CLIC Sargent's Holiday home in Ayrshire, where young people can meet others with similar experiences, helping them to feel less isolated.
