Once again this Christmas, Hannah Jones, Cat Goryn, Laura Burrell, Joel Lewis and Esther Baron are layering up and making our way into the heart of London to volunteer at one of the Crisis bases as part of the Crisis at Christmas team.

We will serve, talk to, spend time with and encourage the guests in a hope to make a difference to them this Christmas. We will help to ensure their stay at the Rough Sleepers Centre (where they sleep, eat, drink and have access to a range of activities, including Arts & Crafts, CV writing and services such as dentistry, hair cutting, health and well-being) is a special and memorable experience for the Christmas week.

We hope to remind the homeless people of London that someone does care about them. The love that we show will aim to bring comfort and peace to those who are vulnerable in our society and for whom every day is a challenge. We strive to encourage them of the hope for the future and bring a positive joy to their soul.

The last couple of years, through generous sponsorship, we have smashed our target and raised over £700 for Crisis at Christmas. We have enjoyed serving and mingling with guests, sharing joy, laughter, music and festive cheer. We met Sir Ian McKellen who often pops in to see the Crisis provisions and last year, Jeremy Paxman narrated a panto show along with guests and volunteers. 

Along with our friends and family, we would love to raise a huge blessing for the Crisis charity and those who access their services all year round.
