BELLIE CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER · 19 December 2020

We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Hello,

Loneliness and struggles with mental health is something that will affect many of us in our lifetimes. These issues have been hugely magnified due to the coronavirus pandemic and we are on the brink of a crisis like no other as suicide rates in people of all ages continues to rise year after year.

...

We want to try and make a difference by raising awareness and money for one of the UK's leading mental health charities, Mind. On average, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health issue every year and we want to try and help get this number down in whatever we can. We understand how hard this year has been for everyone and if you can donate it would mean the world.

...

Our challenge will consist of a cycle and run equating to 51.3 kilometres per person (back to back, all in one day):

---

🚴 We will cycle from the MID CHESHIRE MIND store, CW7 1BA, to Peckforton Castle (21.2km) 🚴‍♀️

🏃‍♀️ THEN we will run from there to Ellie's home in Dodleston, Chester (30.1km) 🏃

🎅 ALSO, to add to this we will undertake the challenge in Christmas costumes. 🤶

...

Our challenge will take place on Saturday 19th December, starting at 10am.  Our route is on the images attached so if we pass your area please pop out and give us a wave. We are so happy to be able to try and give something back to a charity that means so much to us and is making a difference to so many peoples lives.

...

Thank you everyone in advance, love Barnaby & Ellie X
