Thank you for taking the time to visit our BHJ Just Giving Page. This year we are raising money for The Queens Centre at Castle Hill Hospital.

The hospital are hoping to open an Oncology Assessment unit for patients experiencing symptoms from their disease or their treatments.
At present, patients having symptoms would either have to attend their GP practice, attend the Cancer Centre as a walk in or attend
Accident and Emergency. Any of these routes can result in lengthy waiting times or an unnecessary admission.

The Oncology Assessment unit will ensure that patients are seen as soon as they attend the unit; they will be assessed quickly and have the
appropriate treatment started as soon as possible.

Any donations made to our Just Giving Page would be utilised within the Oncology Assessment Unit to provide additional equipment they may
need and also provide equipment to ensure patient comfort.
