Bold is Beautiful

Launched in 2015, Bold is Beautiful is Benefit's global philanthropy program dedicated to empowering women & girls to be bold, believe in themselves & reach their full potential.  

The vision of Bold is Beautiful is to affect change in the world by creating a long-lasting positive change in the lives of women and girls in local communities worldwide. The ultimate goal is to GIVE BACK to the communities that Benefit calls home, through donations, volunteering and raising awareness. 

The campaign allows Benefit to go beyond our beauty counters to partner with local charities that empower women and girls through education and mentorship, economic self-sufficient, and/or access to wellness.

Our Charity Partners

In the month of August, Benefit Ireland  will be giving back to the local community that supports women and girls by fundraising for our two chosen local charities Look Good Feel Better and Daisyhouse. 

Daisyhouse. 

Daisyhouse Housing Association is a 31-year-old, registered charity and Approved Housing Body supporting women out of homelessness. They do this through the provision of Supported Temporary Accommodation combined with uniquely tailored individual Personal Support Programmes to women who are homeless.

Daisyhouse provide this service for 18-month periods so they can break the cycle of homelessness and be empowered to move forward to independent, safe, sustainable living. They also
provide a fully comprehensive resettlement programme.

Women become homeless for different reasons – domestic violence, sexual abuse, sexual violence, addiction, ill health, relationship breakdown, loss of income and others. Most of the women who are referred to Daisyhouse have faced a combination of these complex challenges. 

When this happens, they need support, time and a safe space where they can start to rebuild from the trauma of their past experiences, feel safe and secure and, in time, move forward in their lives.

Daisyhouse provides this support, time and safe space.

Fundraising

Bold is Beautiful is our way to help our chosen charities raise funds, and throughout the month of August we will be raising funds in three main ways. 

Get Waxed To Give Back

Brow waxes are the #1 way we raise money for Bold is Beautiful. During the month of August, Benefit will donate 5  Euro from every brow wax service performed to our two wonderful charities that empower women and girls.

Donation Barcodes

The second on-counter way to donate to Bold is Beautiful is via our donation barcodes. These will be available at all participating retailers and are such a great opportunity to raise more money for our charities. 

Fundraising Events

This year we want to really turn up the volume on the Bold is Beautiful campaign, raising as much money as possible for our chosen charities. As such, we will be using the Justgiving platform to allow all of our staff, colleagues, family and friends to embark on their own fundraising events!
