Story
SCC is raising $13,200 to provide bicycles for 110 children and ensure they can access their education for years to come.
Distance alone is stopping disadvantaged children in Vietnamfrom accessing their education. Children are struggling to study as their local schools are simply too far away and their families can’t afford their transportation. This means that many disadvantaged children are travelling 5km to 10km to school on old, rundown bicycles or even by foot every day.
Saigon Children’s Charity (SCC) is campaigning to secure 110
children’s educations this school year by providing them each with a
bicycle. All the new bicycles, priced at $120, are fully equipped with lights, basket, and stand, as well as a warranty and delivery, so each new bicycle can benefit every child throughout their education for years to come.
