We are excited to welcome Brain Tumour Support as our BNI Cook's charity member and wanted to do something positive to mark the occasion as this terrible disease has impacted some of our lives in a variety of different ways.

Whilst research charities are working incredibly hard to find a cure, sadly, brain tumours are far more common that you would think and every day in the UK around 45 people receive a brain tumour diagnosis. This can be an extremely frightening and isolating experience for them and for their loved ones.

Brain Tumour Support is dedicated to providing support for patients, families and carers so that no-one feels alone when facing the effects of this. They provide individualised and specialist information, guidance and emotional support, at any point from diagnosis , for as long as it is needed. The charity relies entirely on donations in order to deliver its services, which are a lifeline to thousands of brain tumour patients and their loved ones.
