Story

Over the last few years I've gone from running to the oven when I realised the pizza was burning, to running a few half marathons and doing ok at them. Now I feel like the next logical (mental) step is to run a marathon. All 26.2 miles of it. I tried and tried to get in to London, but they wouldn't give me a place. So instead of finding somewhere else in the UK, I wanted to do one of the big ones... so Berlin on Sunday 25th November 2016 it is!

I have ran in aid of the British Heart Foundation before when I did my first half marathon and the support I got was absolutely amazing. The charity means a lot to me and even more to some very important people in my life so it felt like the only choice for my first (and only) marathon.

Anything you can spare is absolutely amazing and it means a lot to me, the charity and it will be very important to me once I get passed 13 miles and in to the complete unknown!
