FareShare redistributes good-to-eat, surplus food, which would otherwise go to waste, to 8,000 local charities and community groups across the UK. But our charities are facing unprecedented demand for food. Join our fight against hunger and food waste. Support FareShare today.

Story

Bruce Stevenson Insurance Brokers, alongside their ambassador; cyclist and reporter Mark Beaumont, are tackling a 56 mile route through the Scottish Borders on Friday 2nd June to support FareShare on their mission to tackle food waste and hunger.

FareShare Scotland collects good quality, in date surplus food from retailers and producers and redistributes it to more than 476 frontline charities and community groups to improve the life chances of vulnerable people in Scotland. This food is transformed into nutritious meals for places such as homeless shelters, women’s refuges and breakfast clubs for disadvantaged children.

Last year alone FareShare redistributed over 1,400 tonnes of food; the equivalent of over three million meals.

Your donation will go straight to FareShare, please do not forget to choose Gift Aid.
