I'll start by sharing her poignant post sharing the  news of Jose Hanna's birth 

"It’s with a very heavy heart that we announce the birth of our beautiful daughter Jose Hanna Frew. Jose arrived at only 27 weeks on the 2nd Feb weighing just 360 grams and was too little to continue, so passed peacefully with her mummy and daddy.

We’re very proud of her for beating massive odds and making it this far and incredibly sad that we werent able to take her home and give her the life she deserves and create the memories we had planned for her with her big brother.

We do want to thank family and friends for the support, the time, the messages and gifts... it was a massive help during this tough time and made us feel incredibly loved. We love you all and appreciate everything that you did for us... there’s too many people to list but you know who you are 

The staff at Townsville hospital especially Dr Watson, Cherie, Zoe and the team were amazing and they showed nothing but kindness and support. We’d like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

In honour of baby Jose a group of us are completing the "Jog 50 miles in March" for the SANDS Charity that provide so much support to people like Sam and her husband Dave who experience such awful tragedy.
