The German invasion of the Soviet Union on 22nd June 1941 was the start of the most protracted and largest land campaign of the Second World War in Europe.
Dr Strohn is a specialist in the history of the German army in the 20th century, with a special interest in the World Wars. He is a senior lecturer in the Department of War Studies, Sandhurst and Senior Research Fellow in Modern War Studies at the University of Buckingham. He holds a commission in the Bundeswehr.
Our hosts will be the Fusiliers Museum and the event includes a sandwich lunch a glass of wine and the opportunity to network in the exclusive surroundings of the Fusiliers mess in HM Tower of London.
