Story
There are 1.2 million stroke survivors living in the UK. I'm taking on the Stride for Stroke challenge and walking 1.2 million steps in 120 days, to raise funds and help provide support for those in need.
Before my stroke I use to be a very keen cyclist and cycle around 5000 miles per year, indeed in my heyday I rode over 10000 miles per year, my cycling life is now behind me but I have many other challenges ahead, my main one at present is to complete this challenge of walking 120,000 steps in a 120 days in order to help the Stroke Association carry on their wonderful work in supporting the stroke community of which I am now part off.
I know you will have received many calls on your money but I will be very grateful if you could dig deep and find a few coins to help support me
Thank you very much.
