Story

We are a group of staff (and a sister) that work in AlderHey Children's NHS foundation trust, and have seen first hand the incredible work that each and every department does in this remarkable place! The team that we work for provides vital mental health support across Merseyside to Children and young people who are struggling, and we know just how much of a difference having well equipped and well resourced services makes to the children and families that we work with. Children and young people are wonderfully unique and sometimes need us to think outside the box to provide the right support at the right time, and AlderHey Children's charity help us to do just that. They can help to provide different departments with with equipment, activities and projects designed to enhance and improve the lives of our amazing young patients when they are under AlderHey's services. We have decided to take on the challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp to raise money for AlderHey Children's charity to help the good work keep going! We really appreciate any support you can offer, we know that sometimes that support will be a donation and sometimes that support might be sharing our page far and wide and we really appreciate it!
