Story
On the 1st September 2024 our best friend, Natasha ‘Tash’ Read (was Gir) lost her short 10 month battle with stage 4 bile duct and liver cancer, leaving behind her two beautiful children, Alex and baby Elliott and her childhood sweetheart husband, Darren. Tash had a bucket list and visiting the giants causeway was on the list that she never got time to fulfill. Our friendship group was in the planning stages of a trip to the causeway, before she suddenly passed.

Her 37th birthday would be on the 19th June, so when we saw that Macmillan had a hike for cancer just 2 days after and at her bucket list location- we knew we had to sign up and fund raise in her honour.
On our half-marathon team is me (Becky), my husband and Tashas friend- John, and Tash and I’s fellow school friends Looke and Jonny.

We have challenged ourselves to take on the Giant's Causeway Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.
We would be be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
Thank you and wish us luck!
