We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As some of you know, I have raised funds for Cancer Research every few years now, each time with an even longer and more epic cycling challenge.

Sadly cancer affects all of our lives. This time it affects mine more than ever before. My dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August 2019.

There may not be a cure for this type of bone marrow cancer and other incurable cancers yet, but any funds you and I can raise for this cause should help others and their families in future.

After 100 miles for my first fundraiser, a 24-hour race for my second and a record attempt the length of the UK for my third, this time (starting on 20 June 2022 after Covid postponement in 2020 & 2021) I will be taking on an unsupported ultra cycling race the length of Europe, from the northernmost point in Norway (North Cape) to the southernmost point of Spain (Tarifa).

It will no doubt be a physical, mental and emotional rollercoaster, but my 'why' is stronger than ever before. I hope you want to support me in this endeavour by donating to this important cause.

Any donation, no matter how small or large, is welcome.

Many thanks in advance. Be the egg x
