NDK consulting have teamed up with HR Revolution to form the winning team at the Dragon Boat Race taking place at Bewl Water on 10th September 2016.

Ok so clearly we haven't won it yet, but that is certainly our plan in a bid to raise as much as we can for our chosen charity.  We personally know this very special little girl that benefits hugely from the fantastic work Tree of Hope does, see the little girl in the picture is Rebecca, and she has one very special wish... to walk! And we can make this happen....

She has spastic Cerebral Palsy and has been accepted for the Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) surgery at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital in Missouri. This is what the surgeon has said “ Her spasticity will be permanently reduced, her sitting and standing postures will improve, her transitions between postures will be easier and faster, her balance and level of comfort will both improve. We feel that Rebecca has a chance to walk with a walker and we will assess her ability to walk using crutches.….We strongly recommend that she have the rhizotomy surgery.”

There is only one problem stopping this fantastic surgery happening and that is the cost and so we would like to raise as much for Rebecca and make her wish come true. She is a remarkable little girl and has already raised money by fundraising, she just really needs help with the final hurdle. Please if you can, donate to this wonderful cause.
